On the waterfront of Esquimalt Lagoon Migratory Bird Sanctuary, a sheltered section of the Pacific Ocean about the size of a small lake just 20-25 minutes from downtown Victoria. A quiet location close to all the attractions. A five minute walk to old growth forest with miles of hiking trails. A five minute drive to miles of beaches. Hatley Castle on the grounds of Royal Roads University is in clear view. The Galloping Goose hiking and biking trail runs nearby, connecting you to downtown Victoria and the Sooke hills.

We offer private accommodation: The main room has a queen bed and a brick in-room fireplace. A private bathroom is just across the hall. Sliding glass doors provide a waterfront view and a private walk-out to the backyard and the ocean lagoon. Our second room - the Grandma Great Lace Room - allows you to take advantage of our location at lower cost, or when combined with the Waterfront Room for groups of 4 or 5 travelling together. Beautiful vintage lace and collectible furnishings and decorations are used in this two single-bed room.
