In 1903 the Lauders contracted a local stonemason to build the three-story house from the fieldstone found in the surrounding valley hills. Over the next 76 years, five generations of Lauders lived and prospered in their fieldstone homestead. The farm was designated a Saskatchewan Municipal Heritage Property in 1983.
In August of 1995 Carrie & Kelly Brennan purchased this property. They fell in love with the character of the old stonehouse and its spacious valley location. Immediately they began restoring the house to its original elegance. In July of 1996 The Fieldstone Inn opened its doors and since has hosted people from all over the world. Come experience our little piece of paradise in Canada’s Heartland! |
